Substitutions & Variations
- Feel free to swap in any non-dairy milk in lieu of cow milk. Cashew is my favorite, and oat milk is my least favorite.
- You can remove the date and keep the banana, or vice versa.
How to Make Banana-Date Iced Coffee
Step 1: Whip the Coffee
In a blender, Nutri Bullet, or a mini food processor, combine equal amounts of sugar, hot water, and coffee granules. Whip for 1-2 minutes until all the ingredients are incorporated. Toss in the ice cubes and continue whipping the coffee until it triples in size. At this point, add the banana(s), date(s), and milk then continue blending for another 1-2 minutes.Step 2: Serve

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar, granulated white sugar, or monk fruit sugar
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- 5-7 ice cubes
- 1 cup of cow milk or non-dairy milk, such as nut milk
- 1 banana
- 1 date
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, optional
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla, optional
Instructions
- Whip the Coffee: In a blender, Nutri Bullet, or a small food processor, combine equal amounts of sugar, hot water, and coffee granules. Run on high speed for 1-2 minutes until all the ingredients are incorporated. Toss in the ice cubes and continue whipping until the coffee-sugar mixture triples in size and becomes frothy and foamy with the consistence of a whipped cream. At this point, add the banana(s), date(s), and milk and continue blending for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve: Pour the coffee into tall glasses over some ice cubes and serve immediately.
